Final Plea

"You scarred me forever
Three times yet I live
Such a painful endeavor
Yet had more to give?
Raised to be strong
Yet destined to die
Never belong
And be caught in the lie
You gave me life
Then tried to take it away
Do you blame yourselves for this strife?
I blame you each day.
You ignored me now hear me!
I’m silent no more.
You tricked me you fooled me!
I fight this internal war
I figure it out and you curse me again
Almighty Alchemist; driven to die
The cards are against me, I just cannot win
It’s hard to imagine why I even try
This life is vile and sour
Magick charged to deploy
Poisonous power
Not to build but destroy
Why do you haunt me?
Why won’t you leave?
Your ghosts are all I see
You made me trust you only to deceive
Now I must beg you
I need this release
More than you ever knew
Let me rest in peace"

It's dark, but it fits the characters mood. You'd have to read the story to understand why, but reguardless I like the poem. He's a witch, so of course it has to rhyme a lot, he's practiced in spells.
